WW2 American M1 Front Seam Helmet Shell.
This example has had a good amount of use but still retains over 75% of its original cork finish to the outside and nearly 90% of its finish to the inside. The shell has a good knock to the crown area and a couple of fractures to the body as seen on a lot of well used examples. The original tan chinstrap is in very strong condition with both brass fittings intact and in working condition, on end has some markings stamped to it . The heat stamp to the inside front is strong and clear, looks like 275B. No liner im afraid to say but a perfect display piece.
