WW1 German Helmet.

Recently found in the loft of a house in South Wales is this very good example of a WW1 German steel lid. The outside has around 60% of its original paint finish with a good amount of light surface rust, some pitting is just started to appear thru the paint but not the metal. One small knock to the top, left hand side. The inside is in much better condition with id say over 90% of its original finish, steel liner frame is held in place with all its original liner pins, these have never been apart. As seen im afraid its lost its leather liner. Cannot make out the maker but its a size 66. A good example that with a bit of TLC would come up a treat.
