WW2 Iron Cross First Class Screw Back, L59, Alois

A nice well used example with tight frame and a nice amount of period factory paint to the core, frame has nice patina. The rear has at one point had the post resoldered, perhaps over tightening but thats a guess, IMO this is a period repair. The fastening disk is in sound condition and screws in tight. The rear has the L59 code, just make it out and the symbol used by Rettenmaier on his cross from time to time. Still retains its small pin to stop the cross from rotating when worn.
