WW2 German Silver Picture Brooch.

Nice momento in the form of a small, around 2.5 inches high, Alpacco marked silver picture frame with hanging loop. The back has an interwined etched initials, perhaps from the names of both. The inside has a month date of ''Mai'' as does the back of the photo of a German soldier with his Girl friend/wife and Alsatian dog. I pressume this is a gift given for the three days the couple were together between may 19 and 22 whilst the soldier was on leave from the front line.
