1941 Dated Zuckerman Fire Watchers Helmet.

Both helmet and liner are dated 1941, shell has over 80% of its period grey finish, liner is also maker marked to the firm Merrythought Ltd.
Purchased recently from the son along with a few other items. The son remembers his father being a Fire Watcher at the Swansea Gas works before joining the home guard and later serving with the RAF as a medic in Europe.
