WW2 Royal Naval Ratings Cap, HMS Daedalus, RNAS Lee-On-Solent.

A nice well used RN ratings cap with cap tally for use on the RNAS Lee-on-Solent, HMS Daedalus. Its been blancoed in white numerous times of its history with some ending up to the lining inside. The tally with ''full stop'' is complete but a bit dirty and ends with a nice tight naval knot. As mentioned the inside is a bit grubby with blanco splatter and the cloth chinstrap is only just held together by a whisker. This example will display very well IMHO!
