Large Dedicated Imperial German 1913/14 Dated Officers Mess Silver Topped Glass Inkwell.

A very nice example of a large glass inkwell with silver marked lid the top being marked for an officers mess and dated 1913/14. To the back of the lid under the hinge are clear silver 800 with Imperial crown and a makers marks. The glass body is without damage, no chips or cracks, the only damage being a small chip from the actual removable glass well, this does not detract from wat is a very nice example. I belive the silver mark relates to a firm called Franz Mosgau from Berlin.
