Kreigsmarine M35 SD Combat Helmet. ET66.

In what i would call ''barn found'' condition with around 75% of its factory finish to the outside, the layered KM decal rates at 80% complete, the tri colour has been carefully removed as per 1940 regulations just leaving a tiny amount of black border to the top and right side.The pins holding the reinforced aluminium liner band are tight with washers and have not been disturbed, i have not tried to read the date and maker to the band. The leather liner is complete and supple with just a touch of dryness, no tips have been pulled through, only the stitching to the rear has come adrift. The shell is stamped to the firm ET and is size marked 66 and the rear lot number appears to be 4432.
