In very nice condition with the leather in supple condition and the green back felt without damage, its marked ''Croupon'', usually the stamp for a higher quality production,as is the use of fastening snapsto hold the buckle in place. The aluminium buckle, black in colour for use on the service uniform is marked to the back for the Assmann firm. The buckle ''keeper'' is not painted black so I pressume a period replacement. Belt measures around 42 inches from end to end.
