Yellow British MKII Home Front Helmet.

This civil defence helmet strated out having a black factory finish, its was then painted white and for whatever reason its final coat is a light yellow. The shell has a certain amount of scuffs were the white finish can be seen , no dents etc to the body. The liner is in nice used complete condition, no date but is maker and size marked, helmet chinstrap bale has a 1938 date stamp. Chinstrap is complete. The one thing i have noticed is that the yellow under certain light in the dark shows up a bright white but thats just an observation, as to why its painted yellow i cannot say.
