British Naval Grouping, H.M.Torpedo Boat No4.

Small group of paper work to a naval veteran called James Jones Quail who was born in Leamington in 1880. From his naval certificate he started service in 1896 as a boy and ended his career serving on board Torpedo boat number 4. Found amongst these house clearance items is a large period photo of boat number 4 dated 1907, its suffered from water damage i belive but could still be cut and framed. Also found is a large souvenir silk again with some damage, his naval cert, and a death cert perhaps to another family member and Quails notice of death, dying in 1918. The last two items is a very clear photo of Quail with a very nice torpedo qualification badge and a cap band for HMS Euryalus, this is accompanied by a hand written letter from a certain Leiutenant stating Quails service on Euryalus and now on Torpedo boat 4.
