Named RAMC Officers Visor Cap, Major E.S.Ashford, 1935-1971.

A nice visor to RAMC Major Ashford who joined the army in 1935 and served in North Africa, Italy and then Western Europe ending up in Germany till 1951. His long service include Malaya and Singapore serving with a Gurkha division ending his military service in 1971. The ALKIT made cap is in nice used condition with just a couple of moth nips to the material, there is no name but i did find tucked inside the cap a typed service document and three Army Education Certificates from when Ashford joined up in 1935 as a private. A nice postwar example that once belonged to a long serving soldier who worked his way up the ranks to become an officer in the RAMC.
