WW1 British Steel Helmet.
In nice used condition with the outer steel body having over 90% of its rough finish intact, shell has a couple of knocks and staining . The inside of the shell has clear manufacture stamps and close to 100% of its period factory finish. The liner is in supple and clean condition with the top felt just having a couple of moth nips, the red markings can be seen under the oil type cloth lining. The chinstrap sorry to say has come apart but its nice to the the remains of a name, if lucky and with a bit of skill the ID of the former soldier might come to light.
