Wehrpass and Award Certs , Pioneer, 57th Infantry Division, Wounded Kursk 1943.

2nd issue book to Gefreiten Heinz Heidemann who as part of the 57th infantry Division was severely wounded at the beginning of the Kursk Battle being awarded the Silver Wound Badge and Iron Cross for the action. Both documents have his unit as 3./Pion.Batl.106, the Iron Cross dated July 16 and the Wound badge dated August4th, being awarded whilst in hospital. Both the Wehrpass and documents are in nice condition as are the two period photos of him found with the documents in the back of the book.
