Named WW2 Royal Engineers Lt Col Uniform Group.
Small grouping of uniform items named to a F.W.Saunders with the service dress and mess dress both named and dated 1938. The SD uniform is in very nice condition, jacket has a nice addition of the cuffs being trimmed in leather. The ribbon bar includes an oak leaf and would appear he served in Africa then Italy, all RE buttons present as are his rank badges to both shoulder boards. Inside again in nice condition with a clear 1938 and named label to the top, no belt. His SD trousers are again in nice condition with all buttons and no moth damage, his name is written to the inside. The mess dress has bright colour without moth damage and two very nice bullion RE badges to the collars, clearly named and dated to the inside. The two waist coats are in nice condition with one having full RE buttons. SD side cap is clean without moth, inside lining again very clean with the owners initials to the inside. Not a bad grouping to a well served officer during WW2.
