K98 Bayonet, 1942 ''asw''.

The actual bayonet is the cleanest ive had for some time, blade has close to all its factory finish, the tip area has lost some from going in and out of the scabbard, tip is fine. Both side's of the tang are marked, ''41asw'' and ''9543'' over a ''d''. The hilt again in very fine condition with the fixing button and top pommel being waffen stamped. The grips are very nice with no chips, cracks or scratches. The steel scabbard im sorry to say has lost all its finish, one small patch of surface rust, marked to both side, ''43crs'' and ''3283'' over ''h''.
