Victorian NCO Barracks Jacket.

This jacket has at some point been converted by removing the two small top pockets and the button holes being tailored to take a larger button, perhaps an Edwardian conversion. The jacket has been well used and has a number of stains , one of the back belt loops has come adrift at the bottom. There are just a couple of moth nips and a small hole to the back, well i cant get the tip of my wee little pinky in it so its small! The NCO arm and collar tress is fine with tight stitching, collar would appear to have had two collar dogs and there is another corresponding hole to the back. The collar is closed by one large hook and eye fastener. Bottom pockets are tight stitched to the top ending in a bellows at the bottom. All buttons are brass KC GS examples, when they where added is anyone's guess, as mentioned the button holes have been extended and machined. The inside has a rough, course grey lining to the top shoulder area only, no dates or markings to be found.
WAS PRICED AT £125.
