WW1 Trench Club.

Made using a brass ''pom pom'' shell case covered in what appears to be boot studs, the wooden shaft has been nicely turned , there is a brass plate to the end with what appears to be a soldiers details, someone has cleaned this area to make out the details.
This and a number of others where for many years on display at the Monmouthshire Regimental museum, i believe the plate on the handle is a 2nd Mons soldiers details.
