Burma Medal Group, Photos, Documents, RE/West African Frontier Force.

Nice little group to C.D.Jones from Lowestoft who joined the RE in 1940 and ended up fighting in Burma with the WAFF. The boxed medals are a later issued example with details, all medals present. The documents relate to Jones during his service with the WAFF including notes on why he and his British friends are not being repatriated back to Blighty. A number of photos of Jones in uniform including one in slouch presume in Burma. Lastly and i find the more interesting is a letter from the Ministry of Pensions forwarding to Jones the Kings Badge for War wounded included is the badge. More research is advisable as having the badge would suggest that something happened to Jones during his service in Burma!
