Luftwaffe M40 SD Combat Helmet. Q62.

A very nice example with around 95% of its period rough finish to the shell. The decal rates at close to 95% , one good knock to the tip of one wing. The liner pins are tight. The inside shell has all its flat factory finish and the liner has a very nice colour and is supple, the liner string in my opinion appears to be the period example. The shell has a clear makers stamp and size, Q62 and the rear Lot number is T995. Going by the appearance of the chinstrap i would say its the helmets period example, no maker can be found as the last inch or so has some damage, the strap was over the visor when i purchased the helmet and i have left it ''as is''.
