Matching Numbers K98 Bayonet and Frog. S/155, E.u.F.Horster.

A very nice 1937 matching numbers bayonet by Horster. The blade has clear makers details, numbers and 37 to the spine and i would say 100% of its blued finish. The pommel and cross guard again very close to 100% finish and two very clear Waffenampt stamps. Wood grips are clean with just minor bruising to one side. The metal scabbard has over 95% of its finish, some missing under the frog but i will not attempt to remove the frog for a better look, clear matching number to the top. The 1939 dated cavalry type leather frog is supple with tight stitching , one corner rivet missing, fixing strap with no issues. Most probably one of the cleanest examples ive managed to find.
