Luftwaffe M35 DD Combat Helmet. ET62.

A well used combat helmet that has received at least two coats of reissued paint on top of the factory finish, a whitewash then on top a dark blue/grey. The the last coat of reissued paint id rate at being 40% remaining the rest has the original factory finish which rates at 90% with most loss to finish being the crown area. The eagle decal is at least 75% complete and on top off what i believe is its first decal, a droop tail example. The tri colour rates at 40% and at one point was under the dark reissued paint. The inside factory finish is close to 100% complete.The early single banded framed liner is in nice supple and complete condition, the inside has a Regimental stamp and the owner has written his name to the inside shell in red crayon. Liner pins have not been tampered with but slightly loose as expected from a well used combat helmet. The original chinstrap is complete but the long end section as a certain amount of damage and one repair, lets call it fragile, the aluminium buckle end appears to be fine. Shell is stamped ET62 on the side and the rear Lot number is 3221.
