WW2 R.A.S.C. Officer's SD Jacket. Pre-War Example.

A nice well used 1930's SD Jacket to an officer in the RASC. The date can be seen in the manufacture design with bellowed bottom pockets and the length of the tunic itself.Nice to have not only the dressing and watch pockets but also the leather tab for the Whistle chain. The condition is nice with all RASC buttons and officers collar dogs. There are a couple of moth nips and some wear to the button holes from use, interestingly there is damage and heavy wear inside both the top and bottom pockets on the right side, why i have no idea but in my opinion this must have taken a number of years of use and not from walking around the barracks! I can see that at some point a pinned ribbon bar was used above the left pocket. I must add that with this being an early and well used tunic there is evidence of at least two sets of holes on the collars and as seen more pips where added and removed during its service life.
