1911 Dated Indonesian Golok Tjikeroeh. Java.

A golok made in the village of Tjikeroeh, Java. Overall length is 23 inches, blade length is 15 inches. The blade is in nice condition with fullers to each side having full okir pattern and the village name and date stamped to the bottom. The carved hardwood hilt has a typical animal, bird, head representation. The wooden scabbard has a carved design to the rounded tip and along the throat with what looks like a minor repair near the bottom.
