WW2 British Casualty Medal Group, Burma. 29th Movement Control Group, RE.

Complete set of medals to Sapper Thomas Wagstaffe Fletcher, service number 14655122, of the Royal Engineers who died in Burma on the 23 of June, 1945. He is buried in the Rangoon war cemetery. As seen in the pictures the medals are in perfect condition as are the ribbons, the named award slip has three medals crossed.
I have done no research on the group but i could guess that perhaps his luck ran out during the clean up after Operation Dracula and the fall of Rangoon.
