Flag Lieutenant Marked 6X30 Binocular Case.

A well used leather case for a set of Ross 6X30 binoculars. The case has three large broad arrow marks similar to those used on Royal Naval equipment. The top of the case is marked ''Flag Lieut'' to one side and the large letters ''F'' and ''L'' either side of the broad arrow, also found are the numbers 5187. Other number 627 can be found scratched under the buckle to the front. To the inside along the cover edge can be found a number and i believe a name in pencil, i myself cannot make it out. So down to condition, case is supple, all stitching tight, closing strap is supple and complete with lots of use, both side studs are present as is the original strap but this has come apart from heavy use and bad storage. Inside red material is maker marked , complete and well used.
Perhaps i should have cleaned the case a bit, will clean up very nicely, but having just found it in one of my boxes i wanted to get it up for sale as its nice to find a RN example with the extra bonus of being marked to an officer on an Admiral's staff.
