1937 Dated K98 Bayonet. E.u.F.Horster.
A good example with the blade having close to 90% of factory finish, only loss is to both sides of the tip where there is just the slightest of staining perhaps water marking. To the top of the blade one side is marked S/155 for the Horster firm, the other is number stamped 5483 over the small case letter ''d''. The cross guard, pommel and flash guard have a nice toned colour with minimal staining , all components have clear Waffenampt stamps including the working top button. The wooden handles are nice with staining and a faint bruises, no chips etc. The metal scabbard is dated 1940 and has the makers details for the firm Berg&Co , overall condition is used with some knocks.
When i purchased this a few years ago i kept the old brown label with the bayonet and this will be the way the new owner will receive it.
