WW1 British Binoculars. Ross (Mill Hill) 1917.

A nice scarce set of 1917 dated binoculars by the firm Ross that are in nice untouched condition with leather neck strap. The leather body has nice wear and patina from use, no damage, no shrinkage. Front brass ends have a good black factory finish with a certain amount of brass showing through from wear. Front caps are Broad Arrow marked. The end caps have clear details and both brown eye caps are free from damage. The lenses are slightly cloudy but the focus is sharp and vision clear enough. As seen from the pictures i have not tried to clean and are ''as is'' when found last week during a Cardiff house clearance. They will with little effort clean up very well!
