WW2 British Merchant Navy Casualty Medal Group. Cardiff.

A poignant group of three medals to a Albert Elliott who was killed whilst serving on board SS Roxby in the North Atlantic by U-613, November 7th 1942. The group consists of his three medals found in the postage box addressed to his wife, George 5th commemorative scroll with slip and two letters from the ships owners to his wife. Lastly we have his early hardback continuous service book with his cooking competence certificate. His service stamps and ships start in 1930 and end in 1935. I presume his up to date book would have been with him aboard the Roxby! A.Elliot is commemorated at Tower Hill Memorial.
