WW1 Royal Navy Ensign White. Size 4-BDs.

A very nice vintage multi construction White Ensign. The condition is good with no major rips but the material has suffered from moth damage. The top hanging sleeve is clearly marked and one end has a good length of rope whilst the other has a metal hook. The only examples of this type of flag going by material, construction, naming and hanging method dates from WW1, just a pity i cannot find a date on this example.
Approx size is 34x68 inches.
