Royal Welch Fusiliers Officers Visor Cap, 1945 Dated.

A 1945 and WD marked RWF officers cap manufactured by the firm J.Collett. Condition of the body material is very nice with one moth nip to the edge of the front visor and one nip just behind a side button. There are just a couple of other minor moth grazing to the nap of the material only. The lovely bronze RWF cap badge has never been removed and sits tightly to the body. The inside liner is complete with oil cover, makers label can be found sewn underneath and stamped to the inside sweat band including the 1945 date. A nice clear broad arrow code can be found stamped to the underside of the sweatband. The only damage i can find is the loose stitching holding the sweat band to the front brow area, lets say 2.5. inches and again to the side where the button is . A very nice WW2 period officers cap and scarce to find a clear dated example.
