1918 Lamp Electric Signalling Daylight MarkII.

Wooden box is in good condition with both opening sides well riveted to the body in the center. Cloth cover is complete with wear to a certain amount around the sides, one fastening button is missing the other in working condition. The wooden box has its factory paint and has its stores number and a broad arrow stamped to the side and clear detailed 1918 dated metal plate. No leather carry strap but both side carry pegs can be found to the body. The battery storage side has its written details to the top and the remains of both wire ends. The other side has its morse key and details, key is still wired up to its period long length of damaged wire. The actual signal lamp has its internal bulb and black factory finish but for some reason the top sighting tube has been removed, the tube can still be found inside the box and the reason for removal has me scratching my head?? The metal ground peg can be found to the inside of the wooden box. Also found are two color filters and adapter. Nice display item for your trench scene!
