Vintage Royal Navy Square Point Clasp Knife. Turner.
Victorian square point naval clasp knife that's been sitting around in a shed for many years. One side has a near perfect stag slab handle with the other side having some lifting to the horn surface from being laid flat for years on a damp surface. All metal fittings have turned dark brown with a certain amount of pitting to the top shank and knife tang. The Turner marked blade has some surface pitting but still retains a good amount of unmarked steel and the blade has not been over sharpened, makers details clear. Top still has its period copper swivel and the blade spring is strong.
