Erel Commercial Lightweight Private Purchase Army Helmet,

A commercial produced helmet by the prestigious hat maker Robert Lubstein who's company name Erel can be found stamped to the liner. The Vulkan fiber shell has close to 98% of its factory finish with no cracks etc. This helmet left the factory as a double decal Army example but im sorry to say that at some point the tri color decal was completely removed and the Eagle decal has been denazified. Interestingly there is such an Erel example in the Ken Niewiarowicz book on Helmet decals with this exact type of eagle being used. The inside has a very nice supple liner with clear Erel makers stamp and the complete supple chinstrap with roller buckle.
