Boxed First Class1939 Iron Cross. L/54 Schauerte & Hohfeld.

The box is in very nice condition with no knocks, tight hinge and working front square button, the inside has a complete cloth hinge, nice clean top material with the bottom cutout cushion having just a minor discoloring. The cross has is in nice condition with close to 95% of its black factory finish to the iron center with some finish missing to the central ''swaz''. The two piece frame is tight and the rear fixing pin, hinge and catch being the period examples. Nice clear L/54 stamp for the S&H firm under the catch.
