MKII Military Kukri.

Perhaps a private purchase officers example being the type with horn handle and white metal fittings. The blade has a long profile with most of the finish being replaced by a very dark surface rust/ patina. The hern handle is perfect without damage, well there are two minor chips near the metal bolster end. I cannot see any stamps to the blade. The leather scabbard is well used and period example but doubt if it started its life with this Kukri.
Total Kukri length is...17.5 inches
Blade length is just under 14 inches.
