French M1874 ''Gras'' Bayonet. Matching Numbers.

Bayonet is in nice condition with the blade having some staining mainly to the tip area, no pitting. Spine is clearly marked and has a 1877 date. Cross Guard has no pitting and has turned a dark color from patina with the brass pommel end having some slight knocks. Bayonet spring in working condition. Both wooden grips are bright with minor bruising only! The steel scabbard has no dents with the finish being very dark from years of patina. The bayonet does not have the appearance of being cleaned recently. Both bayonet and scabbard have matching numbers and ''L'' letter code.
