French M1866 Bayonet. Alex Coppel Marked.

Blade is very clean with what i might call ''minimal'' staining and an undamaged cutting edge, clear makers logo to one side for the German firm Alex Coppel. No top edge script. Cross guard is stained with a ''Z'' inspection mark but no rifle number. Brass handle is clean with a nice coat of patina, press stud works fine. The steel scabbard has around 80% of its period finish the rest having a nice dark patina with a rifle number stamped to one side.
