French M45 ''Jeanne d' Arc'' Steel Helmet.

Scarce model helmet produced for a short number of years and designated the M45. The outside Airforce blue finish has faded with a slight bleed from the metal overall and one side has a couple of minor knocks. The front leather pad is complete with one scuff to the surface to one side. The inner has its period liner system with two back sweatband ''tapes'' coming adrift from the steel frame Clear makers stamp to the inside with a clear 1945 date. Chinstrap has gone but from what ive read the examples used can be found on any Adrian helmet of the period.
