German Heer First Pattern Tropenhelm. Clemens Wagner.

A nice used Tropenhelm made by the firm Clemens Wagner and sized 58. The body is solid and the material has certain marks from use. The lether brim is complete but has numerous splits, check the photos folks for more detail. The inside has its leather sweat shield, marked faintly with the Clemens makers details. The metal shields are i believe period applied with the Heer example with sharp detail and most of its paint, the national shield has lost a certain amount of finish. The inside has some verdigris and dust from years of being left alone, i myself have not cleaned as i will leave this for the new owner. Chinstrap is broken leaving just one length to the ''Stitched'' side. A used but not abused example.
