WW2 German M42 Helmet Shell. Size64.

A good solid period manufactured steel combat shell with no pitting or dents etc. A black painted helmet used post war by a European country. A collector has removed the black, still found inside the shell, and an additional white finish and found a good amount of its grey factory finish underneath. The shell has its rear lot number but im sorry to say the makers details to the side has gone, i think i can just make out a stamp but no way of knowing the maker. I do know that the shell is a size 64. Perfect restoration project!
