Named WW2 British Wolseley Pattern Pith Helmet.
Helmet is in used condition with some sweat marks and use. The body is solid with a slight crush to the top. Khaki puggeree is complete with no evidence of a formation patch sewn to the side. The inside leather sweatband is complete and in good order with a clear Hobson and Sons makers mark. Underneath the sweatband can be seen a faint WD and Broad Arrow stamp in black.The tin foil inner is complete. The sweatband is named and numbered to a C.W.Barret-1519202 that corresponds to a WW2, 1941, RAF member found on the ''forces war records''.
