WW2 British Army MKII Steel Helmet. 1941.

This helmet is in untouched condition with the outer shell having over 90% of its late rough finish intact,the wear mainly to the crown but not down to metal. The overall color is bright with some marks from use and storage. The inside shell has nearly all its factory finish intact. The liner system is complete and again untouched or cleaned, a 1941 date stamp can be seen and a clear size mark. The chinstrap again complete and untouched. All components have the same patina giving the helmet its uncleaned untouched look. The shell has no date stamp that i can find as its most probably under the paint but i can see a faint makers mark stamped to the front. If you want one example thats not been ''buggered'' with then this one might well be for you!
