German Modified French 1886/35 Lebel Bayonet.

Bayonet is in very nice condition with the blade having great finish, no pitting and nice patina, blade is marked to one side.The cross guard again with loads of patina and a working spring with a clear number to the bottom..N1165. Brass handle has some knocks from time and storage. The metal scabbard has nearly all its factory finish with some faint letter stamps and a faint rifle number , non matching the the bayonet. The bottom of the scabbard has the ''pinned'' cap usually associated with it being a German conversion.
