1907 Fighting Knife Conversion.

Factory produced conversion of a 1918 Wilkinson produced 1907 bayonet. The blade has been ground shaped with one hell off a point and a false edge to the top, makers details are clear enough to the bottom of the blade. The 07 cross guard has been left ''as is'' and a very nice wooden handle added that goes completely around the tang. The leather scabbard is complete with supple leather and tight stitching. I have always myself believed this was produced in India going by the work on the dagger and scabbard, the scabbard does appear to be the type found with the ''Chindit'' daggers. But hey thats just my opinion having had this example for many years. As for condition its what you would expect to see when an item has been stored for may years without being touched or cleaned. I love it but its time for it to find a new home!

NOT FOR SALE TO UNDER 18'S AND UK ONLY!
