Matching Numbers K98 Bayonet and Frog.

This is an untouched example with the blade retaining a good amount of its finish and a nice tip. The only issue to the blade is the minimal staining to the tip, hard to see but there. One side of the blade has clear stamps..41ffc, the other side stamped 8208 over an ''e''. Both grips are clean without damage. The hilt is free of pitting and has stained a certain amount, top fixing button is free. The pommel has two clear waffenampt stamps. The scabbard has a nice amount of its finish and a certain amount of patina, bottom tip has a clear waffenampt stap. One side of the scabbard top is stamped ''41ffc'' the other has a clear number stamp 8208 over an ''e'' so a nice matching numbers set. The leather frog is supple with tight stitching and a faint makers mark over a date to the rear. In my opinion the frog and bayonet have always been together.
