WW2 British Police Steel Helmet. 1939.

The blue finish to the outer shell rates at around 50% complete with a good amount having toned down to the dark metal, the front Police stencil is close to 95% complete and bright. Inside shell has i would say just under 40% of its factory finish mixed in with the dark patina of the metal The liner is complete and supple, its maker marked, sized 7 and dated 1939. Chinstrap is supple and complete. The shell does have faint makers details just above the chinstrap bail so cannot make out the details, if you know your makers then it will be clear! So we have an untouched example thats always been together and never apart.
