WW1 German M16 Combat Helmet.

Helmet shell has close to 95% of its period finish with slight spotting from age. The inner shell has a good amount of its finish to the skirt and the inner crown. There is an amount of pitting and rust bleed surrounding and running around the area where the leather ring hits the steel body. The liner system is complete with all fingers and inner cushions and what i believe is the period string. The two front liner pins are loose and its my belief that at least one pad has been resewn to the leather band even with the back pin being tight and looking untouched. There is one section of the period chinstrap still attached to one side chinstrap bale. No marking can be seen stamped to the steel but its a good large sized helmet. Displays well.
