WW1 German Helmet Cover.

In very nice condition with the oatmeal cover having just minor marks from storage and both side leather round washers are supple. To the inside can be found the makers details and a 1918 date. As for period of manufacture im going to go for postwar just to be safe, there are those who believe they are period construction, im not one of them or i would be selling for a lot more folks. What i can say is that it makes a nice display item on a WW1 shell.
