WW2 British Police Steel Helmet. 1939.

Super example with close to 100% of its period blue factory finish and again 100% of its stenciled POLICE to the front, top nut appears never to have been moved. The inside finish again close to 100% with a clear makers stamp for the firm BMB and 1939 date. The liner system is supple and in lovely condition with one arm being stamped for the firm BMB, size 7 and 1/4 and dated 1939. Chinstrap is complete, clean and supple. This lid has never been apart as expected with both liner system and shell having matching maker and date.
